My approach
I have an upfront approach to helping people achieve the best result through the difficult process of separation. I believe there is rarely a happy outcome but there are outcomes that people can live with and be able to move forward with the next stage of their life.
My qualifications
I have a Bachelor of Law/Bachelor of Arts, hold a current practising certificate in Queensland and am on the High Court register of practitioners. I have been practising in family law for 14 years primarily doing legally aided funded work in parenting and property matters, domestic violence and child protection work. I have previously provided family law advice at a not for profit clinic in Toowoomba and I have been an active committee member on various organisations like the Downs and South West Queensland Law Association.
I practice what I preach
I was born in Toowoomba and have lived here for most of my life. I understand it can be hard to have to disclose the most personal details of your life and what you’ve been through and endeavour to do my best to provide clients with a safe space they can feel comfortable talking about it and providing or recommending the best supports to help them moving forward.
